Terms of Use
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Lume app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV, its companion tools such as LumeRecorder, and this website. By using Lume you agree to them. If you downloaded Lume from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies as well.
Lume is a player
Lume ships with no channels, streams, playlists, or media of any kind, and it does not recommend or pre-configure any provider. Everything you watch comes from the Xtream Codes credentials, Stalker portal, M3U playlist, or media server that you add yourself.
Your content, your responsibility
Only connect Lume to providers and playlists you are legally entitled to use — a licensed IPTV subscription, your own media, or content offered freely and lawfully. You are solely responsible for the content you access through Lume. We do not operate, control, or vouch for any provider, and we cannot remove or change their content.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lume to infringe copyright or other rights, and do not request, share, or advertise unauthorized streams, playlists, or credentials in our Discord, on GitHub, or in any other Lume community space. We may remove such posts and ban accounts that break this rule.
Lume Pro
Lume is free to use. Lume Pro unlocks additional features, either as a monthly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Both are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase, and Apple handles payment, billing, and refunds.
The monthly subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge; you can manage it in your Apple Account's subscription settings. It can be shared through Family Sharing. The lifetime purchase unlocks Lume Pro for as long as Lume is offered, on every device signed in to the same Apple Account, and is not shared through Family Sharing.
To request a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page. Prices may change; Apple notifies subscribers before a price increase takes effect.
Open-source software
Lume's source code is published under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. That license governs what you may do with the code, and nothing in these terms limits the rights it grants you.
Third-party services
Lume uses outside services such as TMDB, MDBList, IntroDB, OpenSubtitles, Trakt, Simkl, YouTube, and ESPN to add artwork, subtitles, watch history, and sports data. Those services have their own terms, and they may change or stop working at any time. See our Privacy Policy for what is sent to them.
No warranty
Lume is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors, that every stream or playlist format will play, or that any particular feature will remain available. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or anything arising from content or services provided by third parties, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Lume Pro in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.
Changes
We may update these terms as Lume evolves. The date at the top shows the latest revision. If you keep using Lume after a change, the updated terms apply.
